May 23, 2014, 5:02 pm Told me they were from the ministry of justice and the had a cheque for £2400 or could have it paid into my bank I was not going to give them my bank account number , they told me they could send a solicitor with the cheque but would need to go with them to a local shop who cash cheques so the could get the 10% tax which was £240. They have taken almost £300 from my boyfriend stating that they would give him a £2500 loan in return for an initial upfront fee of £90 and then an insurance fee ppi of £180 which he paid in Ukash vouchers! Then they wanted a further large amount for a cancellation fee ! To which we was wise to it ! I've recorded the call and have told the bank? Police and authorities and watch dog but nothing seems to be getting done it's horrendous ! November 21, 2016, 10:03 am Called me on Friday 18th claiming to be from BT technical department, asking if I was at my computer as there was a problem with hackers trying to access secure information. January 20, 2017, 1:07 pm They called today saying hackers were using my internet and BT needed to close my internet down today if they couldn't sort the problem out over the phone.
