March 2, 2015, 8:06 am The callers was the "National Advice Service" which is a gimmicky cold caller who wants to tell you a big lie about how you were in an accident 3 years ago that was non-fault ( not true for me) and how I am not eligible for a big settlement with the insurance companies if I want to file a suit. March 13, 2015, 9:55 pm I too got the call from the National advice service, I think the real purpose of this call is to trick people into going to a pay clinic and book an appointment for inspection of your injuries so they can fake a lawsuit and get referral fees for your paid clinic appointment. That's why these calls are UK wide and so rampant. They are making huge bucks tricking people into going to the clinic to pay for a doctor to check you when there is no chance of getting a settlement. April 6, 2015, 2:30 am Person called saying that I was in a car accident a few years ago and this made it possible for me to get a big cash settlement from the insurance companies since it was non-fault if I had injuries. I believe the point of the call is to either get innocent people to pay lawyers retainer fees hoping for a settlement when none will come or as the previous commenter suggested they make a killing of profit off booking clinic appointments and getting commissions, which is similar to the hearing injury calls. May 10, 2015, 11:19 pm I got calls for accidents that I was never in. Offering legal compensation packages with lawyers who can sue the insurance companies on my behalf if I was in a non-fault accident. Offers the possiblity to get additional monies for compensation for paying for repairing my vehicle as well. I think this call is a giant load of nonsense. Block if you want to get your sanity back. The young girl who called today said that she just phones to numbers she is given. November 5, 2015, 1:20 pm My 79 year old mother received a call from this number today. Said they were the National Advice Line and that they had received information stating that she was previously an industrial worker (not true). Appalling that these people are targetting the elderly now...
