Got put through to a 'supervisor' who checked my details (and got the house no and name on my card wrong): before he could ask for the details I told him he was obviously a scammer and put the phone down. May 25, 2017, 9:17 am Female with Indian accent phoned 24/05/17 telling me that I had been registered with the Telephone Preference Service and that I would receive no more nuisance or marketing calls. I said I had not requested this service and the caller put the phone down. I dialled 1471 and the caller's number was given as 01225 335123. June 6, 2017, 4:08 pm Automatic dialler delay before an Asian claiming to be from the Telephone Preference Service, said they required to confirm a few details in a short survey before renewing registration with TPS to prevent nuisance calls. They were an unsolicited caller, with no formal identification unable to confirm the date of the request to register with TPS and became unresponsive to questions so I hung up. Caller Type: Survey
