August 31, 2015, 2:01 am A fake Microsoft tech support helpline and they have deep Indian accents. Wants me to make changes to my computer to let them fix a virus they said I have. They couldn't tell me my ip address after saying it was how they found me. Can't tell me my name or address on file associated to the ip address as they claimed. All lies. I pretended to follow their instructions and then at the end said it doesn't work. They switch people to other higher tech scammer agents trying to figure out why it doesn't work. They fake it so you will buy tech support memberships and altered freeware which they illegally charge you for. This is a scam and these people are making millions of dollars doing it. February 9, 2016, 1:05 pm Fake tech support line. Heavy Indian accent. Called me twice in space of a few days telling me I had a problem with my Windows PC and he could fix it. I listened to some spiel before realising it was a scam. I don't have a Windows PC, so it wasn't thought through too well. Just annoying as I keep getting calls every few days now.
