December 16, 2014, 12:04 pm Went through to the call as I am currently in the middle of claiming something so thought it was related, asked to confirm address, they tried to put me through to their 'dispatch department' to discuss in more detail, luckily whilst on hold an email from my original company came through so I hung up then Googled the number and this came up. Came across this website indicating it to be a bad number... read the thread and well "his eyes were opened". Without going into detail I am with step change formerly cccs ... She knew my name, said I had over payed on a loan in the past 10 years and was due a refund of around £2,500. When I asked if she knew any further details she said she couldn't disclose anything due to consumer protection act (!). Asked me lots of questions about any loans I may have taken out in the past 5-10 years. I know for a fact I have not over payed on a loan. DODGY. January 5, 2015, 3:46 pm Just had a call from 01515591150 and new immediately it was a call centre as there was a slight connection delay. The young lady knew my name and had a very common and norther accent, not that there is anything wrong with a northern accent its just that she sounded very common and not the kind of person you would trust with anything, let alone claiming back any money owed from being overcharged by your bank or insurance company. January 7, 2015, 1:33 pm I just had a call from this number, the chap at the end of the line asked for me and said I was due compensation for a loan I took out between 2001 and 2011, he wanted me to verify who I took the loan out with. I told him to sod off, I'm not divulging my financial activity to someone over the phone. He said well if you don't want the refund of over £1000 that is up to you. I said if I was due compensation from a lender they would contact me directly and by confidential post, not via you and you company. I put the phone down. I hate these people! January 12, 2015, 1:27 pm These scamming scum have phoned me on several occasions. They tel;l me that they are not based in Liverpool, but in West Yorklshire. They use the 0151 number to get Liverpudlians a bad name. I, and other peop-le have phoned them and complained on many different occasions. If we all keep doing this we can stop them doing business. He stated that he received the information from a third party! " clearly these were the bandits that sold them this info"? The whole "management team" look like a gang of scumball chancers. I have asked the team for the number of their scumball boss, but am not allowed to speak to him. YET....his company feels that it is allowed to cold call me at any time of day or night!!! This company are vermin!!
