They will use a gimmick about a survey you filled out, or they may have honestly gather your information from an airport from yo or someone else. Either way it's all commercial in nature and they are selling vacations and such. Free holidays claims, but you will have to pay for the flights or taxes regardless. June 15, 2015, 12:30 am CLC Holiday World called me regarding a survey they said I had filled out earlier. This is not true, I have not filled out any surveys. July 8, 2015, 4:02 am I was approached in an airport to fill out a survey because I had won a prize trip. This cal was regarding a timeshare deal and I believe they mislead me when gathering my personal details so they could place my information into a database and use it to sell to companies for sales calls like this. August 18, 2015, 7:21 pm I had the same problem as most people do these days. I filled a survey out at a airport this year. I was also told I would not receive any calls from anyone. So I gave my email address. Since I returned from my holiday this number keeps calling me. Regardless of me telling them I am not interested in any timeshare or the fact I had won a holiday. Did not wait to hear what they had to say. But made it quite clear not to call me. I also added the number to my rejects list. But they still seem to get through to my mobile number after me blocking them. My advise is to stay well clear of surveys at any airport as it is a scam to get you to buy into something you have no control over. Anyone thinking on giving there details bank address etc etc. don't once they have all that you might find yourself being subjected to fraud. Good luck and be careful what you fill in at airports. January 28, 2016, 4:36 pm Hard Sell to take a date to collect my prize. They were surprised I would be at work at 11.00 and 15.00 on a normal working day! October 18, 2016, 5:44 pm they called me saying I had filled in a survey but then proceeded to ask me info about my marital status and also whether I owned a home saying I had to confirm these details, I said you tell me what I answered and I will tell you if that is right as it is too much personal info to give out. November 29, 2016, 4:24 pm This number calls me half a dozen times a day regarding a holiday comp I have won. If you block this number they will come up with another number and repeat call you. Most numbers are Milton Kynes or Southend-on-Sea codes. I have blocked them many times with them using different numbers. I had to change my own phone number due to late night calls. April 19, 2017, 7:08 pm I had a call saying that I had completed an online survey and she had good news. When I asked what she was trying to sell her response was that she wasn't selling anything but was phoning with the good news that I had won a prize. At that point I left the phone for her to jabber on as long as she wished. I hung up about 10 minutes later.
