May 4, 2015, 11:38 pm This is actually a third party call centre that was hired by Vodaphone. Vodaphone doesn't make calls like this directly for customers, they always contract that work out. In this case the text or call is most likely related to Vodaphone's wish to get some customer data to help improve the customer experience. May 28, 2015, 3:09 am It was a text from Vodaphone who wanted to conduct a customer satisfaction survey to improve Vodaphone services. They said it was free to text back and begin filling out the survey. I don't have time for this nonsense and the texts are bothersome. Will be screening this call from now on. June 8, 2015, 4:54 pm This caller is Vodaphone and they are calling "lotal long-term customers" with special promotional deals. I would probably label this call more like "upselling and squeezing every last pound I can from my current paying customers." Repeat calls. June 20, 2015, 6:47 am If you go to the Vodaphone website and cstart a live chat you can speak to someone about any calls you got from this number that may have charged you money. I have a pay as you go phone and these calls were costing me money so I spoke to Vodaphone, had the charges reversed with credit issues to my account to cover the calls. I work for this call centre and can confidently tell you that this is Vodafone which has contracted out calling centre to make customer service calls and telemarketing calls on their behalf. I answered the first two times but no one was on the other end, but there was background noise that sounded like it could be from a call centre. September 23, 2015, 1:01 pm This number is a third party company.. What really annoyed me was that they charged me 60p for calling them to then hear them trying to sell me stuff. I recommend that anyone getting this contacts Vodafone direct and complain about it. The genuine Vodafone customer service person was extremely helpful and blocked all Premium numbers and texts to my pay as you go phone and gave me a very generous talk time credit for my inconvenience... The more people that complain directly to Vodafone the more they have to pay attention to this rather dodgy practice of subcontracting their sales efforts to third parties. Caller Type: Telemarketer

I said in pleased my son didn't answer with your terrible swearing and if you are Vodafone. I would like this call listened to. She started to argue and get very rude. December 19, 2015, 12:32 pm These have just started calling me. I answered once but just heard background noise so knew it was a call centre and disconnected. I find it extremely difficult to make any contact with Vodafone, certainly can never get to speak to anyone direct. However, we have a shop in town and the staff are very helpful. Like Francine I have a pay as you go phone and would be very upset if I was being charged for this unwanted call. Will check my balance before they call again but I will just delete and go into the shop to see if they can stop calls from this number being made to my mobile. Caller Company: Don't know. They are committing an offence under the various Telecoms acts legislated since 1984. September 16, 2016, 11:45 am Same story pestered by this number for days I finally decided to ring it back anonymously and Iman answered said he was from Vodafone and then tried to blag me saying i requested them to call me about their better (pay as you go) deals which was a total load of bull. He was also VERY BL**DY EXTREMELY PUSHY. ALMOST DENOTED HE HAD THE SLIGHT HUMP .BECAUSE I WITH HELD MY NUMBER. BUT I WOULD NOT AGREE TO VERIFY ANYTHING WHO I WAS OR MY NUMBER. (WHAT FREAKED ME OUT MOST WAS HE SAID MY SURNAME AT THE START OF THE CALL YET I HAD WITH-HELD MY NUMBER. June 30, 2017, 5:19 pm I have bought a new phone, havent had chance to give people this number, i have had 8 missed calls from this number today, i checked online and saw all the complaints from this number, possible scam, wanting your bank details to sign you up to contracts, i have tried to contact vodafone who seem to know nothing about this. wish i could work out how to block it.
