February 5, 2015, 6:12 am A man with an Indian accent was asking me questions about my age, insurance policy company and my energy company. I think this call is going to be used to build a customer profile on you to help further sales calls later on based on the information you provide to them. February 28, 2015, 9:50 am I was asked what age bracket I was in, what bank I use, what insurance I might have, and who my electrical or energy company was. Then it went into questions about my home, energy usgae, and financial situation. Income, etc. Then they asked some questions about house size and vehicles I have. April 17, 2015, 9:34 am I have now received numerous calls from this number over the last week. Started off with about 5 missed calls per day in the evening when I was at work. Answered a call in morning one day, and answered their few questions, then they call back half an hour later as if they hadn't called. They did address me by my name on both occasions. They then tried 3 times the next morning, and I refused to take part explaining each time that they've already called me. Today I pretend to be the babysitter, yet they were happy for me to go ahead despite not being the person they asked for, and I stop the call by telling them I don't know the answers. This has happened twice before 9.30am!! Also, despite the 3 calls yesterday morning, another 7 missed calls during the afternoon and evening. April 21, 2015, 12:12 pm Over the last year we have received a number of cold calls, usually about surveys, which I refuse to answer. Recently the frequency has increased - to 9 the day before yesterday, for example., including some silent calls. I realise now they are always from the above number. How can they be stopped?
