May 14, 2015, 5:26 am Big scheme to get you to pay them fees for clinic appointments or lawyers retainers for fake lawsuits. They say you can file lawsuits to get additional funds from your insurance company as they may not have paid you enough for your non-fault accident. This scam is similar in nature and run by the same people who make the hearing loss injury calls for industrial hearing loss. It's all about profits from referral fees for clinic visits. The caller will mention how you were in an accident and for lots of people with out cars this will be all the evidence they need that this is a cold call off a big customer list. This is just a scam to book clinic appointments to check your injuries. They have no serious intentions of suing anyone for you. I told them I worked for a personal injury law firm and that the limitation for a personal injury claim was 3 years so they must not know the law very well. I also told them that I did not have a car and was signed up to TEP. I further informed them that if they dare to call me again I would keep a record and start a claim in the small claims court. I said yes I had an accident and played with her for a bit then she transferred my call to her supervisor, the Indian asshole. He started to take details of the accident and I gave him all the made up information but soon it turned to be a boring conversation(I was missing Hannah). July 5, 2015, 12:42 pm Had a call from these yesterday. Don't get me wrong I sell leads for a living however details I pass on are fully opt in and have asked for a call from a respectable company. This is the only way it can be done under ICO and OFCOM regulations. What this company is doing is cold calling a list of mobile and landline data which probably hasn't been screen against the TPS register and does not have a genuine opt in within the last 6 months. It is against the law and give companies like mine a bad name. If A person has asked for a call by all means ring but don't make unwanted calls and try and take advantage of vulnerable people which is all they are doing. Told me I was in a bad accident, I asked how they got my number they said that they had my record from their traffic department, they then asked when my accident was, I said that seen as they had my record surely they should know. As per most people here I have never been in a car crash and at this point she hung up on me which was a shame as I was game for a laugh!

If you call them back (with number withheld of course) you can get through to a real person in the call centre and give them a piece of your mind - they call themselves "Injury claim law". So I told her, completely in shock....I WAS IN AN ACCIDENT AND I DIDN'T REALISE?!?! SO GLAD YOU CALLED!! Hannah quickly hung up. July 7, 2015, 4:29 pm Like other people have said before I'm 100% certain that 'Hannah' is a pre-recoreded automated voice...which to give them credit is pretty well done, its voice and speech recognition kicks the **** out of Siri and the Xbox 1 :p i asked several questions and got a response for most of them, she even gave me an address when I asked where they were based...she only got a bit out of her depth when i asked her 'if there was a god' and 'do androids dream of electric sheep'. July 10, 2015, 7:54 pm My mobile is on the Telephone Preference Service TPS so I shouldn't be getting these calls anyway so I went on the Information Commissioners website and reported this number. There is also an option to get the number blocked by your mobile provider at the end of the reporting process. When I asked her which car, I have three (I don't, I only have one) she transfers me to her 'supervisor'. I ask him the same question, he says he doesn't have that information. I ask him what my name is, he says he doesn't have that information. I ask him where he got the information from, he tells me that it came from the "Road Traffic Accident Department"... I repeat that to him, incredulously, and he says the "Road Traffic Department". I ask him which Road Traffic Department, he replies "The Road Traffic Department of the United Kingdom". I tell him there is no such department, he tells me I must be new to the UK!!! I'm 43 years old and I've lived in the UK all my life, I tell him - then he asks if that's the case why don't I know about the Road Traffic Department?! I tell him I know it doesn't exist because I work for Her Majesty's Government (I don't) and ask whether he would like to continue the conversation in light of that fact.
