June 25, 2015, 5:56 pm Random cold calls for sales of fine wines. Other people are also getting odd calls claiming to be from BT on this line and those calls may possibly be a scam. Either way I would ignore this number to be safe. if you have suspect issues with BT then call them direct using safe publicly listed numbers. As for the wine I guess you can make your own mind about how legit this is. No need for bulk wine in my household so it's wasted sales call. Caller Company: Wine or BT???? Caller Type: Telemarketer

September 27, 2015, 1:48 am This is some kind of wine investment scheme. Not sure if it's legit or not. They say you can get a 16% tax free interest rate on the wine investment. Sounds too good to be true to me. I know you can make money off wine investment, but I think you need to do it very sophisticated. Not anyone can do it. January 25, 2016, 11:37 pm I received a call from this number about investing in some wine. I immediately informed the caller that I wasn't interested. He insisted that he send me some information to which I replied that he may as well save the postage as I wasn't interested and what part of that point didn't he understand. He then said "oh, you bitch", I told him not to dare to call me a bitch (during which he repeated it) then told me to shut up and put the phone down. Charming! I bet they haven't saved that call for 'training purposes'. I have never been so offended by a phone call in my life...a 'bitch'?? - I'm a 56 year old bloke FFS!!! February 22, 2016, 4:12 pm Had several calls from these and managed to speak to somebody. I told him to stop calling me and he said after my rudeness they BT would be stopping my service. Had to laugh as I said he would find this difficult as I don't have any services from BT. Hopefully they will stop now. Caller Type: Unknown

Then, when he realised the phone had been answered he said "oh hello". I laughed and replied with "hello" to humour him. He then said "oh fvck it" and put the phone down. August 9, 2017, 5:59 pm Wide boy called me giving me some "investment advice" about fine wine. I strung him along, challenging his investment savvy and correcting his English. After speaking to him for 16 minutes I explained that I enjoyed wasting his time, and I wouldn't be investing. His "boss" called me back a minute later to tell me off - hilarious!
