August 7, 2015, 4:29 am Some kind of loan scammer. They said I took out a loan from 2008 and now needed to pay it back. They knew my name and post code. I found this very creepy. I have no records of debts from 2008 and certainly no memories of taking out loans at all in my life. No need for a loan. Person calling had a very obvious Indian accent. August 10, 2015, 3:51 am I am getting scam calls for PPI refunds. They said I was eligable for a £1500 refund if I wanted to give them my credit card and file some forms electroncially. Sounded very much like a scam to me and I will have no part in this to be made a fool. I've heard a lot of bad stories about bank accounrs being completely stolen and controlled requiring account closings to stop the theft. Not sure if that is what this is, but I will not risk it. August 17, 2015, 11:34 am I have had two or three telephone calls from this number......same old crap of having money to send to me. First call they said £1600 then the second call £2400 and then he lost his thread and said £2200 and I challenged him and he was a bit aggressive. August 17, 2015, 1:51 pm Had a call from "James" on this number, second today, my partner answered the first - PPI- he said no thanks & hung up. My caller told me he wanted to refund me £2500 I'd overpaid on a loan, never had a loan & told him as much. August 24, 2015, 11:47 am Several call from this No. last one this am. A male with thick Asian accent called 'David' asked to speak with Mrs ......... (Me). He then went on to say I had a ppi on a loan taken in 2004 I could not make out from who. Asked him to repeat himself which he did. Still I could not undersand him. Told him to send me all the information in the post so I could look over them, Could hear him shouting something but could not understsnd him, so I put the phone down. August 24, 2015, 10:38 pm Had a phone call from this number - someone with a foreign accent who said I had a loan from 2005-2009 for £5000 with Lloyds TSB. Strange as I've never banked with Lloyds. Told me I had ppi due to me and he would pass me to his supervisor. I should write down when I had the load and how much. I put the phone down. He phoned back asking why I hung up. He then asked me to repeat what he'd told me to write down so I wouldn't forget when asked by Supervisor. When I said no I'd not had a loan on those dates he called me a bitch and got angry.

August 25, 2015, 3:01 pm Asian sounding man called Alex advised that I was due £2348 PPI refund from £4000 personal loan in 2005 repaid in 2009. I stated that I did not remember this loan. He asked me if the loan was from Lloyds , Barclays, HSBC. I informed him that I did not remember the loan. I KNOW I DID NOT HAVE A LOAN AS I WORKED IN FINANCIAL SERVICES. He asked again which bank loan was with. I repeated I did not remember the loan and as he had called me advising I was due £2348, he should just send me the cheque for the money due. Alex was flustered by this and said that a claim would need to be submitted to a bank to get the money. I reiterated if I was due a specific amount, just send me the money. At this point Alex had difficulty hearing me so I repeated just send me the money. HE HUNG UP ! Caller Company: PPI Reclaims Caller Type: Scammer

August 27, 2015, 1:50 pm Currently house sitting and dog sitting for my friends while away. Took a call that came through at 1.25pm today, a man with an Asain accent. He asked for my friend by name and told me he lived next door (a lie as there are an elderly couple one side and a young couple with 3 children the other). He then asked me how old I was, told him that was personal and asked who he was. Wouldn't give me a name, told me he was in love with me and would be round in 5 minutes. This has scared me I have had to lock myself in waiting for my partner to come back. This person should be stopped, very threatening. Never mentioned money to me. Really fed up now with constant calls from these people, even a lie-in at the weekend can't be enjoyed anymore. I'm off to find the proverbial brick wall to bang my head on, wish me luck! September 9, 2015, 1:21 pm Received numerous calls from this number saying I was due a refund on a loan I've never had. I politely said NO THANK YOU and hung up only to be called straight back. The male with an Indian accent then became very abrupt calling me rude for putting the phone down. I again declined and he started saying "THIS IS NO PRANK CALL IM TRYING TO HELP". I then hung up again only to be called back several more times. This is a clear FRAUD attempt looking for the vulnerable so beware. September 11, 2015, 7:47 pm ignore this number it's a PPI Scam tyey have been bothering me for a year, I forget the name of the company, but they allegedly have offices in London and Manchester. The pattern is always the same.They have either Hacked Lloyds data base or a register of people who have had loans in the past 10 years IT is always an Indian Sounding man who attempts a confidence trick telling his victim they have a cheque for£1500 for you all you have to do is obtain £150 worth of UKash vouchers give hin the referance numbers and the cheque will arrive via a courier service. This ignorant pig will end the call if asked to identify himself or company, Caller Type: Scammer

September 16, 2015, 1:17 pm Just had a call from this number, difficult to talk to as I think he was setting up his next victim. Advised that I was due a £4800 PIP layout from Lloyds Bank. I thanked him and said send me the cheque and I would bank it. He hung up so I guess no cheque on its way. My phone is able to block calls so this one will be added. September 18, 2015, 4:12 pm I can confirm that I too had a call from this number today from an Indian calling themselves Kevin and claiming to live in Newcastle. Me: Oh really, which one? Him: didn't know the answer. Same basic scenario as described by others here re the information he tried to give, IE loan from Lloyds Bank in 2005. I said I'd already successfuly dealt with all my PPI claims. Not abusive but very pushy trying to say I didn't know about this particular loan etc. Then I side tracked him into talking about India, where he was from etc - Delhi. As I have relatives there and have stayed there I told him where I'd stayed in the city and it was pretty obvious he didn't know where I was talking about. I Didn't confirm anything on the phone and told him that as he seems to knows everything to put it in the post. When he realised I wasn't fooled he became aggressive in tone. September 21, 2015, 11:46 am Had this company call re a loan I took out in 2005 (repaid in 2009). Told him that I hadn't got any loans by 2009. Got very aggressive and abusive when I told him all my PPI claims were settled. Told me I was rude!!! so I put the phone down on him.
