Just ambulance chasers. Never heard of people actually winning money so they much be selling some kind of legal service while pretending you are going to get a big payout. They try and find out if you've had an accident in the last two years and , if so, will gather details to progress a scam. March 27, 2015, 10:43 am A personal injury lawyer telesales call. They call about an accident you may have had in the last 3 years that was non-fault and then try to book an appointment with a clinic to check your injuries. The real money being made here is from the referral fees for the clinic. It's the same thing as the hearing loss clinic calls. They have no concern for your settlements, they just pretend they will sue and book a checkup at a clinic that you must pay for and give them the commission for the sale while you stupidly desire the lawsuit settlement that may be impossible. June 22, 2015, 8:06 pm Received call from ACA regarding a historical accident I was involved in which is resolved. First time they said they had outstanding paperwork that needed completed. I asked him to explain/clarify where they had got the details from. He was quite rude. Today after listening to the initial intro regarding my accident, I asked them to wait till I got a pen so that I could note all their contact details etc and funnily enough the female caller hung up. June 26, 2015, 5:55 am A woman trying to sell me accident claims assistance. Will tell you that you were in an accident in the last few years. Woman said the company was untraceable so I could never report the them to ofcom. She also refused to explain to be how they dealt with data protection and I wasn't allowed to speak to anyone about data protection. Very rude woman at the end of the call. They know I had a car insurance claim, but not that the car was parked and I wasn't in it at the time, so no injuries. When they hear that they give up quickly. July 13, 2015, 12:21 pm I get three or four calls a day from this number. Unfortunately I don't get chance to speak to them and obtain any details as I have a blocking app on my phone.
