February 1, 2016, 1:00 pm The post was in Japanese (I live in Japan, got this on my Japanese phone!!), talking about how the standby period for my outlook email (which I have not told a soul about!) has ended and security details have been changed. It then suggests a link where I can confirm. It came at 3.40am GMT (afternoon for me). I was quite scared but thanks to this website for highlighting previous cases, not so now. October 5, 2016, 5:59 pm phone rang for 2-3 rings then showed as having a text attached - giving me a Yahoo account key or pin number, which I had not requested. The call was received at 1745 GMT yet showed as being sent same date at 2218, so coming from a different time zone. Caller Company: not known Caller Type: Unknown

October 21, 2017, 6:46 pm This is a number used by multiple companies such as Microsoft, Steam and Fiverr. If you receive a text out of the blue, ignore it. However it's usually used to verify your phone number on said services. The number is therefore most likely owned by a service that provide companies with the opportunity to text clients, meaning that the number itself is not a scam, regardless of the other comments. Just be warned that not all messages from this number will be legitimate, as we can assume that any of their clients can send a text message from this phone number.
