June 14, 2014, 2:56 pm Got a call from this number said they were from Sky. Told them I had left at which point the guy was very rude and hung up. I called Sky to complain and they claim it's not even their number as they have no record of me being called on my account. They had no record of my complaint call yesterday either so either their system is messed up or their employees don't log calls properly and can override the system. They just wanted to ask me security questions and asked for my full name. On the second call i answered it and there was slience and then a voice said to someone else they can't afford it. i just put the phone down on them. December 4, 2014, 12:10 pm Received calls off this number numerous times. Answered it twice and heard no response from the person on the other end of the line on. Just received from this number 2 minutes ago and a man was trying to sell me a hugely discounted offer on a sky package and tried to get me to sign up to an account over the phone. March 2, 2015, 3:18 am A very sophisticated scam run by an illegal debt collector. He poses as a Sky agent. I checked with Sky and they said he didn't work for them - all the positive reviews are written by him. He asked if I live with anyone, what time I would be out, what floor I live on, if there is restrictions to gaining entry. The police have no interest - this government has deliberately allowed these type of people to operate like this to recover their debts. He is a fraudster and a criminal. April 14, 2015, 4:34 pm This number just tried calling me, I do not answer numbers I don't recognise. I just checked sky's website after reading the comments, Sky's numbers all start 0844. I don't get why it's ok people can operate like this either. If its important they can leave me a voicemail. They must be after something though as they won't call for nothing. July 16, 2015, 5:00 pm If you get these calls frequently, register your number with TPS (Telephone Preference Service), this is a totally free service, give it 28 days and you shouldn't get any more nuisance calls, if you do, you can report the number to TPS as it is now illegal for any nuisance calls to get through to your registered number, the caller will then be hit with a heavy fine. September 29, 2015, 7:18 pm Just had a call from this number didn't answer it but looked at this website. If you are constantly getting calls tell them you will be contacting the police as they are harassing you I have found that works they don't call back if it is a scam..Also check with your council if your personal details are on the open register.
