March 23, 2015, 11:06 am This is "British Gas" calling to get me to switch suppliers by offering rates I can refuse. The gimmick these use is to tell you that you won a competition prize contest with them that they automatically entered your name into. Don't believe a word I heard. April 27, 2015, 9:05 pm The caller claimed to be from "British Gas" and was informing me that I had won a competition from filling out an online form. I don't remember filling out any forms so I think this call is suspicious and should be ignore by all. Unless someone is filling out forms in my name of which I have no control over. July 1, 2015, 4:19 pm After missing these calls for about 2 weeks, I picked up today and sure enough it was British Gas. They claim I filled in an Emma's Diary (pregnancy-related marketing) survey and wanted a comparison. I did join ED but definitely didn't fill in a survey. When I said I wasn't interested they tried to do the comparison anyway until I put the phone down! I accidentally press a key whilst putting the phone down, and it started ringing - but nobody answered it. So I checked I had not been charged for the call and put a block on the number.
