March 20, 2015, 6:23 pm This no. calls at least once a day usually at a really inconvenient time. There has never been anybody at the other end although somebody was having a conversation with someone else today. Like most people the call could be important from friends or family so it is totally wrong that these people are allowed to take away our peace of mind. May 1, 2015, 4:39 pm This dam company keeps calling though I never answer it I just do a 1471 and it tells me what number has called. I have registered with the TPS (Telephone Preference Service) they can be found online and you can also registered mobile numbers as well as landlines. Pity the gov don't make these nuisance calls illegal.

May 20, 2015, 12:17 pm Just had a call from this number claiming they are from Sky saying that my warranty is away to run out...told him I wasn't interested and he got very agitated with me when I said I didn't have a "plan" for if something went wrong with my box. They are not from Sky so please do not fall for this scam. I have now blocked the number but I'm sure they'll find another way to contact me in the future! May 27, 2015, 11:59 am I had a call from this number claiming to be sky. They said my years free insurance was nearly up (even though I've been a sky customer for almost 3!!) and she started telling me how much it'll be and what will be insured and went on to process this WITHOUT asking me if I wanted to go ahead. I realised this was a scam and declined. She was then very rude to me when I said I didn't want to take out insurance with them. Please be aware of this scam!!! June 12, 2015, 5:28 pm I have had a call today from a male caller who said he was from Sky Domestics trying to sell me insurance for my Sky HD box. I knew it was a scam as sky never ring me and if they do which rarely happens it's usually a caller with a Scottish Accent. The caller today had a Cockney accent and didn't sound very professional and just knew something didn't seem right about him and I put the phone down. I have had them call a number of times but I was unavailable to take the call until today. I hope these people are stopped so they are no longer able to take advantage of vulnerable people. August 12, 2015, 5:56 pm What a load of bollocks, had a feeling it was a scam straight away but didn't bother questioning the guy just put the phone down. Rang the number back and a automated recording told me to phone 0800 458 4613 and another automated recording on that number telling me to give them my name, phone number and post code. September 2, 2015, 8:48 pm Had a call last night while making tea. Explained to me my Sky boxes,TV's,laptops and tablets could be covered for as little as £9.99 a month,free for three. When I explained i don't own a laptop or tablet he seemed thrown by the news. I let him carry on a little (& put me on hold while he spoke to his supervisor!?!?) and then came the $50 million Dollar question. Can i take your account number and sort code? YEAH,RIGHT!! I asked if the literature could be posted out to me but was dutifully informed that it wasn't possible without account information. How daft do some people think folk are? When I said I would think about it and could I have a number to call back I was given a different number (08444810500). These are both numbers For domestic and general. When I called sky I was told that they are one of their partners. As far as I'm concerned they shouldn't have my number far less details of my sky account. Put on an old man voice..I Started off with a few hello hello hello there's no one there. Hello hello hello she says I can protect your TV and sky. I said what from Burglars? - no if it falls over. - I've got a big table it won't fall over - what about if your satellite falls down - what the satellite in the sky? March 15, 2016, 7:24 pm Tried calling my mobile a few times I never answered, rang my house phone at 7:15pm and said they was from sky for insurance, told them I wasn't interested and he kept pestering saying but what if it breaks I said I'd get one cheap some how I'm sure. He kept on and on so my partner took the phone and said "I'm pretty sure she said no a few times already, and under one of the electricity acts you have to have warranty for around 10years and stop pestering" bloke on the phone seemed a bit baffled and said "alright mate sorry" Nightmare. March 15, 2016, 8:18 pm Spam Caller 0800 479 0758 rang my mobile. Gave me some spammy Automated Cancellation No 0800 458 4613. I put in lots of stupid numbers and swore at them. Called Sky and they said that nobody related to them had called and that it was a possible spam call and that I should report it to the TPS. Fortunately, my phone has a reject list and this has been added to it. If you are getting these calls on your landline, we now have TrueCall Call Blocker. It's a bit expensive at £100, but by far and away the best one. The online stats aspect of it show that we are still getting 15-30 calls a day, but the phone only now rings for people we know. I asked who she was and why would She record the call, this seemed to throw her and then told me my Sky box was out of warranty and needed renewal. I told her as Sky keep putting up prices the sooner it goes sunk the sooner I will cancel Sky if they wont supply me with the service and a replacement box. July 25, 2016, 6:02 pm Second call i've had from these ppl now, 1st was on landline, guy was 'surprised' when i said am fully aware when insurance expires on Sky HD box he retorted 'are you really? in a sarcastic manner' I said yes thanks and if my current box breaks i'll buy another one, i don't need insurance, at which point he just put the phone down, didn't answer mobile 2nd attempt & blocked on mobile now. September 29, 2016, 9:05 pm Seriously getting sick of this number calling!!! Been happening several times (at least 6/7 sometimes more) a day for the past 3 weeks!! As soon as I don't answer on the mobile they call the landline. Just had it happen about 3 minutes ago! And they called today for the first time at 7am this morning! I have 2 children in their beds at 7am and at this time of night and I'm heavily pregnant, it's getting ridiculous! I missed a call back from the doctor with regards to my son this afternoon because of it! Sky says there is nothing they can do but I will be calling them tomorrow to tell them if they don't stop the calls I will be cutting off my services with them and taking my custom elsewhere!
