June 23, 2016, 10:49 am It's a legitimate number, I checked with the Halifax twitter team (@AskHalifaxBank) and after replying to the text I had a call almost instantly from their fraud team. Why they can't use a more official looking number i've no idea, but it is 100% genuine. If you don't believe me, contact their twitter team for peace of mind. December 23, 2016, 9:58 am This number is safe. I received a message about a purchase i made from Halifax. I was unsure if it was real. So i called Halifax, they confirmed that it was them, their security team notice this purchase concerned its not a regular activity from me, so they wanted to confirm i did make this purchase. They explained fraud may ask for details, however they do not! No concerns for this number but double check with your bank if you are still unsure! Caller Company: Halifax Caller Type: SMS
